Magic Tools does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Period.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information. The app does not require an account, email address, or any form of registration.

Device Sensors

Magic Tools accesses device sensors (camera, magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS, microphone) solely to provide tool functionality. Sensor data is processed entirely on your device and is never stored, transmitted, or shared.

Camera — Used by Color Picker, Magnifier, Night Vision, Heart Rate, QR Scanner, and Exercise Counter. Images are processed in real-time and never saved unless you explicitly tap Save.
Magnetometer — Used by Compass and Metal Detector. Readings are displayed and discarded immediately.
Accelerometer / Gyroscope — Used by Level, Protractor, and Exercise Counter. Motion data is processed locally in real-time.
GPS / Location — Used by Speedometer, Compass, and Star Map. Location data is used only for display and is never stored or transmitted.
Microphone — Used by Sound Meter, Sound ID, and Echo Distance. Audio is processed locally and never recorded or transmitted (except Sound ID which uses Apple's ShazamKit API for music recognition).

Third-Party Services

The Sound ID feature uses Apple's ShazamKit framework. When you use Sound ID, a short audio signature (not a recording) is sent to Apple's Shazam servers for music matching. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are used.

In-App Purchases

Premium unlock is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not process or have access to any payment information.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking frameworks. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or any other third party.

Data Storage

Magic Tools stores only your app preferences (theme, units, sound settings) locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. This data is never transmitted anywhere.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require registration or personal information of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Since we don't collect any data, changes are unlikely.
