Short version: Wattio does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. Everything the app measures stays on your device.
None. Wattio collects no personal information and sends nothing to our servers — we don't operate any servers that receive your data.
Your charger tests, charging history, battery-health entries and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. They are used only to show you results inside the app.
If you are signed in to iCloud, your tests and settings may sync across your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud (Key-Value Storage). This data is tied to your personal Apple ID and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it and cannot see it.
Wattio reads your battery level, charging state, thermal state and iPhone model locally to estimate charging power and give advice. This information never leaves your device.
If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device for the charge alarm and charging reminders. No push server is involved.
Wattio contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
Wattio is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
